Heads22
Has Juan ever singled to the opposite field? I'd say he hasn't except he's had to have made contact with some of those low and away sliders....
fathom
QUOTE(Heads22 @ May 7, 2006 -> 12:01 AM) Has Juan ever singled to the opposite field? I'd say he hasn't except he's had to have made contact with some of those low and away sliders.... When he was swinging awesome two seasons ago, he used to hit rockets to right field (even quite a few opposite field homers). Now....well, he's a defensive specialist. Anderson: .153 AVG I'm glad they are getting the job done tonight but they haven't been very good on the season.

fathom
Very nice catch by Gload. If he can play solid defense in the outfield, he's much more useful on this team.
Heads22
For anyone not paying attention, Charlotte is still on freaking fire. Philly gives up 1 hit in 6 IP with 6 K and 0 BB. no pickoffs though. Charlotte up 2-0 thru 8.

He's a good example of why strikeouts by batters aren't all that bad.
