SI1020
I tried to logon but of course since I'm not a suscriber it didn't let me. I have a question or two if its not too much trouble cerb. The star rating after the state, is that an indication of how highly they rate the individual states amateur baseball? How many stars do Illinois and Pennsylvania rate? Just curious. Cerbaho-WG
The stars represent the amount of talent in the area. Illinois had one star, Pennsylvania had 3.
Chisoxfn
This was such a sweet draft. That highschool shortstop (Actually both of them; The Teammates) were stellar picks. Sox did a lot of drafting of guys that slid, most likely for monetary reasons, so they are gonna have to spend some money. Luckily their higher picks won't cost huge money. Well the 2nd rounder will cost money.

If these guys did slide because of monetary demands, and we drafted them, it may be they JR is actually planning to spend some money to develope a great farm system. Since he won't spend money on a great GM that can make great trades.

Cerb went to Texas I think so he may be incommunicado. It looks like a pretty strong field for the final 8 in the IHSA baseball AA tournament. La Grange, Chatham Glenwood, Mt Carmel, Crystal Lake and Rockford Boylan all look strong. Only one star?
MnSoxFan
Moviel went 15th round, we will be lucky to sign him, he was projected high, as were the 5th, 11th and 12th rounders. All HS pitchers. Sweeney will be tough, those 6 will be our toughest signings.
