Chisoxfn
In this weeks show Jason and Mario go in depth on the effects of the Jeff Nelson signing. Will Nelson get called up, and if he does, who will go down? Scott Podsednik has continued to hit, while Anderson and Uribe have continued to slump; Should they be benched? Despite a winning record, should the Sox be concerned with their lack of small ball, or is small ball a bad move with this lineups pop. Chisoxfn
By the way, I apologize in advance for the time or two I cough into the mic. I had no voice as of yesterday, so I was surprised I could even do the show today.
greasywheels121
Sweet. I got stuff to do right now, and I work my first game tonight. This will definitely be on the agenda for when I get back.
Chisoxfn
Well we may have scooped everyone. We reported on our show that Contreras was suffering from back problems.
greasywheels121
Nice job completing the show under the weather Jas; the Rally Crede got you through it. Excellent job on breaking the story on Count. That’s very cool that Mario had that. Good point on Gload. Unfortunately, he’s just a lost cause for us. Because we really have no need for him, but we need him as insurance. However, it’s unfair to expect anything for someone that only plays a few times a month, if he’s lucky. And I’m also wanting more from Mack too; hopefully he gets in one of those hot streaks soon. I agree with both of you on BA. You’ve got to stick with him. We don’t have any options readily available. He’s looked good the past couple games; hopefully he’ll continue to progress off that. And I don’t want Lofton either; I’m not too fond of that player either. The squeeze was a good call yesterday too. I don’t think we should get away from small-ball. Obviously the pitching was the primary piece of the puzzle to winning the World Series; however, I consider the small ball just as important. I love how you both closed that topic; it’s not all about stats.
