YASNY
I had two guys on my team when I was 13-14 years old, that could do that. They were both prodominantly righty, but could pitch effectively from the port side.

knightni
Greg Harris did it some in the early 90s. He could switch from righty to lefty but mlb rules would not allow him to switch more than the one time during a game. http://www.baseballlibrary.com/baseballlib...Harris_Greg.stm Edited May 10, 2006 by knightni
SoxAce
Everybody seems to forget that Billy Wagner was a natural right-handed pitcher for a long time, broke his arm twice, taught himself to throw left-handed I believe (I think I do remember his story) by throwing nothing but fastballs against a barn wall, and now here he is as one of the most dominent closers in the game. knightni
I remember. But Wagner never pitched righty in the majors. THAT would be awesome if he could throw 98 righty too.

WilliamTell
I've heard about this before. I took a games and officiating class over a year ago and if I remember right, according to Iowa baseball rules, the pitcher can switch whenever, just aslong as it's not during an at bat. Aderal
theres a guy pitching for creighton here in nebraska who pitches with both arms more of a location pitcher tho...cant throw above the high 80s with either arm..he's got good numbers tho...and throws diff pitches with each arm....for example he has fastball change slider for rught arm and curve fast ball change for left

Rooftop Shots
Anybody know if there is a major league ruling on whether a pitcher can switch pitching arms to whoever comes to bat if he has the ability to do so?
