WilliamTell
I'm actually thinking AJ and Iguchi have the best shot at keeping it above .300 because it doesn't look like AJ is hitting for power at all this year and when he was with the Twins I think he mainly hit about 10 homers or so and batted around .300. I think Iguchi has a great shot because he has a year under his belt with Major League pitching.
DBAHO
Out of all of the hitters, I'd probably actually suprised at the way Iguchi has started the most. He really struggled in ST, and there was a question or 2 about whether his numbers would decrease a little instead of going up, as more pitchers figured out his weaknesses etc. But so far he's proved them wrong, and it's pretty much a lock that the Sox will pick up his option, and maybe try and re-sign for about a 3 year deal in terms of what A.J got. TitoMB345
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ May 10, 2006 -> 12:51 AM) Welp the key is that you had the balls to admit it right now, but you could also be right about him hitting .280. Good news is that even if he does, he will finish with 40/100 and a .430 OBP. Nah, it'll be atleast 50/130/.460!
Pastime
That lineup looked sad against Johan Santana last night, but that's okay. The guy is a stud pitcher, and there's not many lineups who are going to do s*** against him. He's still nasty and unhittable when he's on his game, and he was on his game yesterday. I love that lineup, but Uribe and Anderson need to see a proctologist to help them remove their heads from their asses. If those two can ever get it going offensively, we will destroy the American League and leave them crying, bleeding, and begging for mercy. Ditto, I'm more upset that Uribe has not made any offensive progress since joining the Sox. The guy fouls off more balls than anyone I can name. And not good foul offs, like fighting off a pitcher's pitch, but fouls on regular pitches.

In the past 5 games Anderson is 7 for 16 with 2 HR's and only 3K's. He's coming around.
