Come on Charlie, let's get through these first few guys with no walks this time.

You're asking too much now.

Not every pitching prospect walks less than 6 batters in their first outing.

Yeah.

Let's hold a knuckleballer to the same walk-standards as other pictures.

Green?

No, but if you actually gave Haeger or any Sox rookie a chance you might see some of these pitches are borderline.

Most don't get a win either.

I just don't see blaming the umps.

We're world champs.

Quit blaming the umpires, we are above that type of stuff.

No one is blaming this all on the umps. It is just a side problem that is not helping matters at all.

I don't think anybody is blaming the umps for what Haeger is doing, but that doesn't make him suck any less. He is inconsistent.

It's not a problem really.

You just have to play and let things take care of themselves.

Rookie pitchers don't get close calls against proven MLB hitters.

They are falling asleep in their positions from inactivity.

Tough s*** for Haeger. He wants to pitch in a major league rotation one day, he can't have even half of these walk totals. Considering hit totals will likely be present for him (as well as any knuckleballer) and it's difficult to hold runners, issuing free passes isn't very conducive to winning.

And umps get crossed up by knuckleballers just as much as catchers. Who the hell cares. If we lose this, we lose it because our offense has 0 hits.

Is he performing about as expected for anyone else, or is it just me?
