Benchwarmerjim
yes yes, I am part of 'the enemy' but after watching Crede this weekend rob what seemed like 15 extra base hits I have to tip my cap that play on Cuddyer earlier today (Mon) was one of the best 3rd baseman plays I have seen

greasywheels121
If he keeps hitting like he has, he'll certainly get that gold glove.
The Ginger Kid
QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ May 15, 2006 -> 04:29 PM) If he keeps hitting like he has, he'll certainly get that gold glove. that's the sad truth. Offense should have no bearing but it does. I think what happened to Crede in the post season has given him tremendous confidence. And the fact that he's always been a second half player makes this great start even more exciting!
DBAHO
Watching Joe Crede for the past season and a 1/4 has been a pleasure to watch both defensively and offensively. For the amount of money he's making, he's one of the best value players in the LEAGUE right now.

winninguglyin83
he's right there with any third baseman in the league -- and he's got more rings than ARod.

greg775
It's great to see Crede fulfil the promise so many had for him. I love having a great defensive third baseman on the team. Now he's hitting the bleep out of the ball and should make the all-star team unless he goes into a slump. What a star!
Felix
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ May 15, 2006 -> 10:34 PM) Ya, IIRC we have his rights for one more season. I think we have him through 2008 actually, but I could be wrong. Kalapse would know for sure.

No. Joe Crede has gone through 1 of his 3 years of arbitration eligibility. If he is not signed, he will be Arb. eligible after 2006 and 2007. He will be a free agent after 2008. So we have him for 2 years after this year.

Jordan4life_2007
Joe hasn't looked this good since Aug/Sept of '02. It's all about maintaining this level over the course of the year. I think he can do it.
