whitesoxfan101
For some reason I enjoy it when the Cubs guys do the game and we win, hearing their depression after a loss to us is fun. This series just doesn't have the same luster IMO after October of 2005 and my new mindset about Sox goals in general, but this will still be a lot of fun. jenksd
edit: nevermind They should make Hawk and Brenley one night, then DJ and Kasper the other. Edited May 17, 2006 by jenksd
whitesoxfan101
QUOTE(jenksd @ May 17, 2006 -> 02:34 PM) So are Hawk and DJ in the booth or those Cubs' schmucks? Hawk and DJ do the game Friday, it's a Fox National TV game Saturday, Kasper and Brenly do the game Sunday. Also, my guess is the Saturday game on Fox National will be Josh Lewin and DJ, if the past is an indication. Phuck the Cubs
edit: nevermind They should make Hawk and Brenley one night, then DJ and Kasper the other. That would be funny, having one teams p-b-p do it w/ the other teams color man. That would be a nice twist to the series

southsideirish71
QUOTE(RockRaines @ May 17, 2006 -> 03:36 PM) Dj and Brenley would be priceless Santo will be on the verge of suicide if we stomp the crap out of them this weekend. A nice bombing of droopy on Friday would be a nice start. Then a nice self bombing by getting crazy Zambrano to stomp all over the mound on Sunday while the Count shuts down their crappy O would be nice also. G&T
These games are also being broadcast on WGN, and I think the opposite annoucers are doing the games. Sox on Sunday, and Cubs on Friday. Edited May 17, 2006 by G&T
longshot7
out here in LA, both teams broadcasters do all non-Fox games. It should be the same in Chicago. that way whoever wants to listen to their team's broadcasters can.

Sox on Sunday, and Cubs on Friday. Correct. They did that last year, and that was a good idea.

That would be horrible. They would do nothing but go back and forth kissing the other ass of each team. "So tell me about Pierre. His numbers don't look good, but I haven't seen him play much this year."

retro1983hat
They tried for one year I think of the Crosstown classic where announcers worked together. I can't remember, but I think Hawk worked with Stoney.
