Catcher A.J. Pierzynski set an American League record in Tuesday night's loss with his 954th consecutive errorless chance. He passed Yogi Berra's mark of 950 set from July 28, 1957, to Oct. 10, 1959. Pierzynski, who hasn't been charged with an error since April 18, 2005, entered Wednesday night's play 10 games short of tying Rick Cerone's American League record of 159 straight errorless games from July 5, 1987 to May 8, 1989

Haha, both are great accomplishments by AJ. I love this guy! This years AJ is wayyy better than last years. Keep it up AJ!! :headbang :headbang

I believe last year's AJ triggered the Sox playoff run with his strikeout...everyone obviously played well, but AJ's K caused a huge swing of momentum towards the Sox. Therefore, last year's AJ was better than this year's AJ, no matter what his stats say. Last year's stats indicate a World Series trophy on the South Side, where as this year's doesn't indicate anything near that level..yet.

Still, a .330 average is solid.

That play won't happen often and besides I meant that I would rather have AJ hitting .300+ than last years .250 with power.
