I was referring to the number of pitches he has been seeing in the game previous to that AB.

Big whoop, he got a first pitch fastball and hit it hard. Bases loaded and you have a good shot at seeing a first pitch fastball to drive (since the pitcher doesn't want to fall behind). Anderson swung at it and got it.

1st pitch or 8th, BAis still going to make an out.

He lined out in his second AB. That's all he can do. Try to hit it hard. Better than taking pitches, getting down in the count and having no chance.

It's bases loaded. See a pitch or two since you didn't see any in your first AB. Who knows, maybe dude throws a wild pitch.

Well, there's a reason he's hitting .172 with 32 K's and 13 BB's. In general, taking a few pitches sure wouldn't hurt.

And he's the 9th hole hitter and one of the best defensive outfielders in the game (in his rookie year). I'm far from concerned. He isn't the reason we won't go to the playoffs (well his bat). If we don't make it to the playoffs it would be on other guys.

Ozuna just misplayed one, wasn't necessarily an error though.

For all we know, if Anderson decides to take pitches in that count, he could have ended up K'ing in that AB, and then people would be attacking him like crazy on here.

He saw a pitch he wanted, he swung, made good contact, unfortunately it was right at the 3rd baseman. I don't have a problem with that.

Big whoop. Anyone that didn't expect him to struggle at the plate was a fool. This guy helps our pitching staff in the field (he may already be better then Aaron out there and if he isn't better, he's pretty damn close).

13 walks for a guy his age isn't bad. I've watched plenty of Anderson's at bats and he isn't just hacking at first pitches. The guy takes a lot of pitches and finds himself in the hole a lot because his approach could be better (and recently it had gotten better, but he seems to be pulling through the zone a bit quick right now).

However in this AB he did everything right. Got the first pitch FB and drilled it..just happened to go right at the 3rd baseman. If you want to bash someone bash them, but don't slam him when he did things RIGHT.
