Plus it's 100 years since the 1906 WS. Celebrating a 98th year anniversary is kind of random.

Not to mention that it would be a dick move on our part. Why rub it in? The banner in left center speaks for itself.

I think its a cool thing to do every so often.

Agreed. However, I'm not a big fan of the uniforms we wore today. I hope those aren't used much more this season.

I did like the 1959 jerseys we wore last year a lot though.

It's gonna be crazy when they have a 2005 throwback jersey day. I might be dead before it happens but it just popped into my head.

I hope we stick with the unis we have for a long time. IIRC, the White Sox have endured more uniform changes than any other MLB team, and a whole lot of them were just horrid. We've had some of the best-looking gear since these new ones were rolled out in '90.

What I love is we single-handedly brought the third jersey back into vogue. Within about two years, almost every team had a third jersey.

I would prefer, however, if they replaced their dugout jackets with the classic satin Starter jacket that every team used to have. They phased them out sometime in the 1990s, and the zippered ski jackets that have taken their place just aren't the same as the satin snap-jackets:

The Yankees are I think the only team who has a satin jacket, Joe Torre wears his all the time:

The Sox need one of these in black, Old English 'Sox' on the left chest and the Diamond Sock on the left shoulder like they used to have.

I don't own a whole lot of licensed apparel because so much of it is ugly, but I'd get one of these if the Sox had one.
