fathom
I'm sure no one else will agree, but the best thing to come out of tonight is that the Marlins are b**** slapping the Pussies. Thus, we don't have to read 20 columns tomorrow about how Barrett inspired the team to a WINNING STREAK.

jphat007
QUOTE(JimH @ May 22, 2006 -> 07:07 PM) Now Zito is settling in, we have a problem. We had a serious problem the day these games were announced. When Zito was supposed to matchup against Garland it got much, much worse.

SSH2005
Well, this doesn't make me feel much better about tonight's game but it looks like the Pierre trade was a major bust for the Cubs. Ex-Cubs minor leaguer Ricky Nolasco is dominating the Flubs with his arm and his bat. He has homered, singled and has 2 RBI's tonight. The Flubs gave up Sergio Mitre, Ricky Nolasco, and Renyel Pinto for Pierre. Edited May 23, 2006 by SSH2005

Balta1701
Come on Jermaine, Joe, we NEED to get on the board here. QUOTE(fathom @ May 22, 2006 -> 06:09 PM) What lasted longer this season? - The Crede-for-MVP campaign? -The "Boone Logan might actually contribute" campaign - The cease-fire between jabroni and jphat I think the Crede campaign. He's still not doing all that bad (.260 in May), but he's, well, hitting .260 in May.
fathom
For those watching....is PK sticking with the little leg kick he had yesterday? I'm a big fan of that timing mechanism.
Felix
How has the game been? It seems Frank got the reception he deserves, and hit a HR with it, but anything else of note? Or has it just been a typical Sox/A's game?

Guest JimH
2 quick outs. I would like to see Montero get the innings, they need to find out if he can help or not. I suspect the latter but would like to see him get a chance to show something.
