fathom
Saarloser's going to give up a lot of base runners. We just have to be patient, and avoid the double play against him.

Wasn't that the game where we had the awful lineup, with Widger at 3b? If so, we had plenty of chances vs him, but we couldn't avoid the double play. We lost that game cause Rowand "lost" a ball in the sun in the 9th inning. For such a good outfielder, he sure did suck defensively late in the game. fathom
I remember that 2nd game against Saarloser. Willie Harris was absolutely pathetic. I think he failed to get the bunt down twice in that game.

SSH2005
Key to today's game: Pitch inside to Frank Use Nelson against Frank late in the game... Frank Thomas (career stats vs. Jeff Nelson): 30 AB (4 hits) .133 AVG .237 OBP .167 SLG .404 OPS 0 HR 4 RBI 5 BB 11 K I would not be surprised if Frank's offensive explosion last night was the main reason Nelson was called up so soon.
