That reminds me of that one game in 2003 when the umps wouldn't delay the game and Maggs had no chance on a flyout against who else, Oakland.

That's the game he's talking about. It was Mulder against Buehrle.

NICE heads up move by Juan tagging him. I thought right away he may have assumed the force was still in order and not tag Swisher.

There's that double play. Time for Uribe to get us started right.

So would you like a popout or a corkscrew strikeout into the ground from the Tazmanian Devil?

Are you kidding me? He's a professional baseball player. He's not THAT dumb.

Yet, players forget how many outs there are fairly frequently.....

It's not out of the question he would forget something such as whether or not the force was in play

Don't forget that the play was behind him, so maybe he didn't know if it stayed fair.

When we failed to turn the DP the first time in the top of the inning, was anyone else scared as hell that the next batter would homer? I just figured it would happen because it's the A's, and no other reason.

AJP was home before Ozuna got to 1st. He was no matter what.

No, he was WATCHING first base as Paulie stepped on the bag. Unless he's blind or something.

Brain farts happen all the time in baseball, I'm sure the exact thing flash is talking about has happened many times.
