jphat007
QUOTE(fathom @ May 23, 2006 -> 07:28 PM) I have no problem with him swinging at the first pitch. However, it was sad to see how much he dipped his back shoulder swinging for the concourse. I think he was doing what he usually does. He missed it. It happens. AJP is hitting .414 when the count is 0-0. Just FYI for everyone. Edited May 24, 2006 by jphat007

fathom
QUOTE(jphat007 @ May 24, 2006 -> 01:32 AM) I think he was doing what he usually does. He missed it. It happens. Pods is hitting .414 when the count is 0-0. Just FYI for everyone. AJP is a pretty easy person to tell how they're approaching the pitch. As you know, he's most effective when he's trying to hit liners. However...if he connects, it's a homer. Thus, I'll find a way to forgive him. I just hope no one was surprised that he swung at the first pitch.
