::Patterson Update::

1-4(2B), 2RBI, BB, 2CS, 1PO, Currently batting .291, It seems batting in 6spot might be working for him, time will tell.

Well people with a brain (Steve Stone comes to mind) have been saying since he came up in '01 that Patterson was a 6 hitter type. Too bad for the Flubs they didn't listen.

Now onto the next bet, do the Marlins 3 rookies(nolasco,olsen,johnson) all finish with 11+ in the W colum?

also "Inexplicably Infallible" is going to have to be changed ;)

Anderson>Corey Patterson. A month of decent play doesnt make a player. We have seen what Corey Patterson is capable of, and that is a flailing mess at the plate. Give it to the all star break, and if he is over .270 I will take another look. His defense is pitiful by the way, im surprised anyone is backing that up.

Ah, I guess my opinion wasnt that bad on him.

not at all, meshugaas :lolhitting , anyways glad to see Brian is turning it around and we won't have to worry about CF, and Patterson was a great pick up by the O's.

Since then he's gotten 3BB and 10K's, much more Corey-like.

He's had a bit of a Corey-like month, with a .326OBP and .356SLG...not looking as rosy now.

And yet still out producing the cubs current CF'er in June Pierre: .269 .333 .323 8 SB

Bitter taste isnt it?

i wouldn't say that, hes batting .289 8HR, 31RBI, 29SB/4CS, 14BB 40SO, not bad at all.
