kapkomet
Anyone want to bet that KC loses this game? Back-to-Back-to-Back Hr's for KC. Chased Maroth without even recording an out. Ouch.
hammerhead johnson
Beautiful. God damn, Maroth pitched 1/3 of an inning and gave up 6 runs on three HRs, two 2Bs, and a single. Some dude named Roman Colon just relieved him, and he has already allowed a walk and a single. The inning has yet to end. Put up a 20 spot on those bastards. Maroth's ERA just went up from 2.45 to 3.
Balta1701
Maroth is no longer going to be ahead of Buehrle in the ERA race. That should move Mark solidly into 4th.
hammerhead johnson
The Tigers got some dude named Jack Hannahan starting at 1B. Who the f*** is that?

Dick Allen
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ May 25, 2006 -> 01:46 PM) He came up from AAA when Dimitri Young beat his path to the DL. I was looking at past 1st round draft picks yesterday. Dimitri Young was drafted as a SS.

Who is starting for the Royalitos anyway? Denny Bautista. And now the Tigers have the bases loaded with one out. Angel Berroa made an error on a double play ball. 6-1 Royals. Bases still oaded with one out for Granderson. Granderson single. 6-2 Royals. Bases still loaded with one out. Polanco HBP. 6-3 Royals. Bases still loaded. Wolverine31
Jack Hannahan is an AAA player temporarily up because Dmitri has joined his bat on the DL again. Maroth felt pain in his elbow yesterday which has been reoccuring off and on since Spring Training. I don't think he should have started and I think he will be on the DL. We are only down 3 runs and there is still a lot of time to come back against a bad Royals staff. I do wish we would have gotten more than 3 in the second with the bases loaded. Even if we lose, it was a successful series taking 3 out of 4 in KC. You can't win them all even against KC and we are 7-0 against them so far. SoxAce
The tigers are doing what we did last season. PWN K.C. But they can't beat us, unless they prove it.

Yoda
You can't ask for help from KC because they'll just find a way to let the opposition come right back. :headshake
Balta1701
You know what's really going to be the test for this Tigers team? Eventually they're going to hit a losing skid. The question will be what they do when they hit one. Last year, the Sox hit a 7 game losing skid, and followed it up with an 8 game winning streak, and then after a few more losses, surged to the crown. Last year, when the Tigers hit their losing streak after the Sox swept them without mercy, the whole team seemed to quit. Right now they're firing on every cylinder they can fire on. The question is going to be how they handle it when a few of those stop firing. Bobby Keppel in to make his major league debut for the Royals pitching. And he gets Guillen out to end a threat. RockRaines
Heres a trivia question, how many pitchers have the tigers faced this year with ERA's under 4? And how many of those were victories?
