Oddly enough the KC Royals can be swept at home. Even in a 4 game series.

Can that be done when a team's 2 best hitters are hurt?

Also, whoever added this smilie scared me when I loaded up the Add Reply page :P

They finally published a picture of the Sox visit to the Playboy mansion in the September issue. Here it is, hopefully the file isn't too big.

Is it bad that I can't tell who some people are?

8 different closers have now blown saves against the Sox this year, the list includes Ryan Dempster, Bob Wickman, Eddie Gaurdado, Chris Ray, Huston Street, BJ Ryan, Jonathan Papelbon and Mariano Rivera. Not bad.

The Sox have some damn good fastball hitters and most closers live or die with their heaters. Once we get the starters out of the game, we usually do some damage against the opposing bullpen.

I was readin the game thread and didn't see any mention of this...no one else saw Joe Torre fall flat on his face when he was going up the stairs to argue that DP call did they?

I saw it. It looked like he hurt his left hand when he reached down to break the fall.
