chitownsportsfan
Rios = best young player in baseball. You're kidding right? He's 25, and not at all that great. Cabrera is a 3 years younger, and almost twice as good the hitter, from OPS+ anyways.

He's the closest I've seen to a 5 tool player in a long time. Edited May 27, 2006 by fathom

tigerfan
Last couple of starts he's sure looked that way at times. It sure helps though when he has a defense behind him that can make the big plays in key situations. Edited May 27, 2006 by tigerfan

fathom
QUOTE(Ndgt10 @ May 27, 2006 -> 12:02 AM) I think Freddy should throw his fastball out of the zone. The funny thing is that his stuff is much sharper than it has been most of the year. The Blue Jays have, in my opinion, the best all-around lineup in baseball. However....you can't keep throwing a great hitter like Wells the same pitch, and not expect him to crank it.
