whitesoxfan101
I thought the Cubs had invented every way possible to lose, but if they lose today this would top them all, especially with the 2 base error on the header by Ramirez.

Trapped in right by Hairston, 13-12 Braves.

whitesoxfan101
Bynun k's to end it. The Cubs end up with 2 k's to the Braves 18, with the pitcher Seo whiffing to end the 1st and Bynum doing the same to end the game. Oscar Villarreal, who hasn't had a start all year, is now 7-0 as he got the win.

Rowand44
It's really to bad that the Cubs and Royals don't play each other in interleague, that'd be an entertaining series.

That would be the ultimate pillow fight, it would be like a dunk contest between Gary Coleman and Verne Troyer.
jenksd
QUOTE(SSH2005 @ May 28, 2006 -> 04:14 PM) A comedy of errors. Hawk and DJ would love to call that game just to pick on Kerry Robinson.
Kalapse
This is seriously one of the funniest articles I've ever read. The only problem is, it's not supposed to be funny . . . http://theedge.bostonherald.com/travelNews...rticleid=141223
TLAK
I've watched baseball for 40 years and I never seen an infielder camped under a pop up and the ball hitting him on the head before. I've seen guys get hit on goofy balls in the wind, I saw Melton break his nose fighting the ball but never one like this, where there was not a hint of him having trouble finding the ball until the ball found his noggin. I could not have written a better script. WEB GEM!

I thought Ramirez was going to drop it while the ball was still in the air.
G&T
When they replayed it, you could clearly hear someone yell "Neifi, Neifi!" just before Ramirez got hit in the head. My brother pointed it out to me and he was right. I don't know who yelled it or why but I think that's why he looked away.

Kalapse
I gotta say, this is the most enjoyable year of baseball (outside of the Sox) I've witnessed. Sports talk radio has become enjoyable again thanks to the current state of Cubs fans. Hillarious.
