SouthsideNorthsideFan
QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jul 5, 2006 -> 10:36 AM) Scrubbies about to get the sweepage laid down on them by Houston. Lost 2 in a row to them and face Oswalt tonight. I guess they aren't going to get any momentum from that game they barely won against the Sox. HAHA guess not

lukeman89
it seems like every game the cubs are in position to win, they try as hard as they can to give it away. sometimes i guess it just doesnt work out.

BTW, when the season started everyone raved about how great of a closer Dempter was, I said I didnt agree because his stuff isnt that impressive. But they continued to talk about his 1 blown save blah blah blah. 1-4 4.46 ERA lol Rock don't you know all the cubs fans boast about how they got him signed for a mere 15mil, Dempster is a l337 SuX0r. Dempster struggled sure enough, but now Wood may not be healthy enough to even pitch in relief. I still think Wood, if he survives in the MLB at all, will end up a reliever, probably a closer. And that may not neccesarily be a bad thing. The Cubs are stupid for not even trying it. He did a pretty decent job in relief last year before surgery. Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE(THEWOOD @ Jul 6, 2006 -> 10:02 PM) Capuano has eaten the cubs up all season. MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Chris Capuano pitched a six-hit shutout to continue his mastery of the Cubs as Milwaukee beat Chicago 2-0 on Thursday night. Capuano (10-4) struck out six and walked none for his second career shutout and complete game. The left-hander has not allowed a run in 26 innings against the Cubs this season in three starts -- all wins. He shut out Chicago in a 9-0 victory on April 30. That, my friend, is what you called being owned. Edited July 7, 2006 by Jordan4life_2006

whitesoxin'
Did you guys see Aramis making the first out of the inning at third while trying to turn a double into a triple? The funny part is that he watched the ball and did a mini home run jig, then jogged down to first and finally decided to stop jogging after he rounded first. That is why the Cubs are worthless. soxman352000
Aramis Ramirez is a piece of s***. He doggs it when he's running the bases. He could probably care less he's on a losing team as long as he does well.

I just loved the s*** eating grin he had on his face when he thought it was gone and then was later thrown out at third, and then in the AB when lee was on second and he SO he looked pissed
