Balta1701
Good looking inning there for Jon. Even the fly balls were on pitches pretty low.
Kalapse
Fun Fact: That was Jon Garland's first 1-2-3 innning of the season. Also, he's still allowing WAY too many fly balls, he needs to keep his sinker down and start inducing some groundballs.
iWiN4PreP
that was his first 1-2-3 of the season? NO WAY. really?
Milkman delivers
Alright, I only got up about an hour ago and I've been putting in the air conditioners, so I haven't seen much of this game. I have two questions. Why is Cintron in for Iguchi and not Uribe? Did Hawk and DJ say that Thome broke someone's glove with a line drive?
BigSqwert
QUOTE(Kalapse @ May 28, 2006 -> 01:10 PM) Fun Fact: That was Jon Garland's first 1-2-3 innning of the season. Holy s***. That can't be true.
SSH2005
Alright, I only got up about an hour ago and I've been putting in the air conditioners, so I haven't seen much of this game. I have two questions. Why is Cintron in for Iguchi and not Uribe? Did Hawk and DJ say that Thome broke someone's glove with a line drive? Iguchi is still sore or something. But when Iguchi is healthy, Cintron should be starting at SS.

Kalapse
QUOTE(BigSqwert @ May 28, 2006 -> 01:11 PM) Holy s***. That can't be true. He's not that bad. Though I didn't look it up so it might be true . . . Even though I remember a few 1-2-3 innings he's pitched this year.

Milkman delivers
QUOTE(Kalapse @ May 28, 2006 -> 01:10 PM) Fun Fact: That was Jon Garland's first 1-2-3 innning of the season. Also, he's still allowing WAY too many fly balls, he needs to keep his sinker down and start inducing some groundballs. I was at the game he started against Oakland. At one point, he retired to first two batters of the inning. I was about to turn to my friend and say that I think it's his first 1-2-3 of the game, maybe even the year, but then someone got a hit. Ndgt10
What kind of question was that? "Do you think the sox have a chance to win another World Series in a couple of years?" Are you kidding me? 5-0 Indians.

BigSqwert
QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 28, 2006 -> 01:11 PM) Why is Cintron in for Iguchi and not Uribe? Your guess is as good as mine. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 28, 2006 -> 01:11 PM) Did Hawk and DJ say that Thome broke someone's glove with a line drive? Yes in the first inning. The SS was playing the shift out in short CF/RF. Line drive right through the webbing.
