SSH2005
Thats your boy, SSH Did you just hear Hawk say, "He rode him hard and put him away wet!" He is losing his mind, I swear. That was awesome -- best cliche line Hawk uses. And Uribe did a Taz spin and nutted that ball a mile.
BigSqwert
Why do they continue to tell us how well a batter hit in BP? Who cares?

chitownsportsfan
If Uribe can just be the same damn 260/300/420 hitter he's always been, I'll take it.

SSH2005
Why is it surprising? Because he strikes out a lot and doesn't draw many walks? 106 at bats 16 walks 34 strikeouts

SSH2005
Well that had nothing to do with the topic. Well, one reason that Anderson is near the top in walks is because we have a few guys in our lineup who don't walk much at all -- Iguchi, Crede, Pierzynski, and Uribe. That was a strike. Nice escape out of that jam. Edited May 29, 2006 by SSH2005
My Dixie Normus
I liked the glove fake, DJ. The runner is already moving so he might have designs on third. If he checks up, even a little, it worked.
