The vulchers are really circling the non-hitting carcass of Brian Anderson tonight. About dam time!

It's just amazing how consistently bad he's been this year. He had a stretch on the west coast where he was getting a favorable count in a lot of ABs. Besides that, he's been awful at the plate. And lets be honest...he's not hitting into bad luck either.

It does. I would be severely disappointed if we didn't pull this off.

Cabrera's been pretty damn good in his last 10 appearances. Wickman always makes it interesting though.

I believe I saw a quote yesterday that said that they had like a 0.91 ERA in May. That doesn't seem possible though. Maybe it was like in the last week or so. I'm trying to look for a split that would tell me.

this cant continue, 8,9 auto. outs. because when we have games like yesterday, sure it dont matter, but when u have games like this where u need a damn run, well, were screwed.

Everyone knew our 1-7 wasn't going to stay hot all season. It was just a matter of time before the 8-9 struggles were magnified. The Indians bullpen might not matter though.... Politte shouldn't be pitching in a close game.

it does, our hitters just stink right now.

we could use a DP ball right here because if politte stays in to face hafner theres no way the ball is stayin in the park

That would mean their pen ERA was like 9.00 in April

It is really tough to think of another every day major league hitter that has struggled this long and made so little progress to continue to be an every day player. Robin Ventura 0-41 can't hold a candle to this drought.
