fathom
Wow....that's why we need a brand new center fielder. Ozzie has been seriously out-managed tonight by his nemesis.

Big Hurtin
QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 2, 2006 -> 11:06 PM) One of the better ABs from Uribe in a long time. And Mackowiak is in, so let the b****ing about his defense in the 9th inning begin. we got a winner.

Gregory Pratt
If we lose this, that's another game -- the third, by my count, in the last month -- that Mack's glove has cost us. We're either going to value defense and leave Anderson in during tight games, or we're going to keep dropping games because our defense has a hole in Centerfield when Mackowiak steps in. fathom
The outfield, in that situation, has to be playing no extra base hits. If a ball gets over your head, it better be out of the park.
Melissa1334
yup, not being able to bring gload in from second w/no outs hurts now doesnt it. nice time for the K bobby!!! ohhh those late inning walks

That funky motion
McCarthy you seem to be pitching pretty good this inning, well let take you out of the game and put in a closer,in a non closing role, who has not pitched in a while. GREAT!!!!!!

Ozzie has been seriously out-managed tonight by his nemesis. I don't understand why BA was taken out. I don't know if he would have gotten to that, but I feel much better in the later innings having him in.

Poor Mackowiak....is it his fault that Anderson has been a debacle at the plate? I'm not blaming this loss on Ozzie...but everyone move he's made recently seems to have back-fired. It should of been a caught ball. But Mack decided to circle it. So we took out defense in a key position, and it f***ed us.

BigSqwert
Can't really blame the pitching. 4 runs vs a very potent Ranger lineup. What about 3 runs on 11 hits? Unacceptable.

I don't know if he would have gotten to that, but I feel much better in the later innings having him in. Cause we were actually trying to score in the 8th inning.
