knightni
Man... This sucks. All these guys doing well in AAA, then biting it in the majors.
southsider2k5
5 walks... Is Charlie still overthrowing the knuckleball? I noticed he was in the mid 70s with it when he started up here, and to really be successful with the knuckler, you need it the slower the better. YASNY
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 07:15 AM) 5 walks... Is Charlie still overthrowing the knuckleball? I noticed he was in the mid 70s with it when he started up here, and to really be successful with the knuckler, you need it the slower the better. That had to be adrenaline. He even said he was throwing too hard.
fathom
QUOTE(knightni @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 08:38 AM) Man... This sucks. All these guys doing well in AAA, then biting it in the majors. The reason for this is that the talent level is miserable in AAA this year. Long time minor league scouts say it's as bad as it's ever been. The team ERAs are all very low due to the lack of hitting in the league. The only guy who I'm truly impressed with so far, by his numbers, is Fields.
