Last time I checked, corner outfielders were supposed to know how to judge a ball's jump, too.

Well that's why he's a corner outfielder and not a centerfielder.

Well, it looks like Detroit will go into that series with a much shorter losing skid than the Sox, since the Tigers managed to win 1 against the Yankees to end the series.
