Mathew
They don't have a better left handed hitter in the minors? Brutal.
elrockinMT
Lots of big talk from the yankees and especially Steibrenner about a big trade. There was speculaion on Kenny Lofton, but settling for Sierra doesn't really seem to be a great move by the Yankees. The guy can hit some, but is limited. clujer420
What's the average age on that team? They've gotta be the oldest team in baseball, don't they?

They must not have a real terrific farm system either because their claim to fame is spending tons of money on Cuban and Japanese ball players. I think they are getting old and that is going to come back and bite them sometime. Of course they still win and are the hated yankees. Jim Fainter
Sierra might have been the first well known player who HURT his career by excessive weight lifting.

witesoxfan
Sierra might have been the first well known player who HURT his career by excessive weight lifting. I heard about that. Was that the same thing that caused Marty Cordova's set back in like 1999 and 2000?
JoshPR
Sierra might have been the first well known player who HURT his career by excessive weight lifting. Yup and becoming a singer did too. Sierra had great talent. If he would have stayed healthy his numbers would have been awsome. Sierra went on the DL for the first time last season i think. Never got hurt
