He also was facing some crappy hitting teams. He faced KC, the Angels (who were slumping), and the Twins (slumping). He's a very good pitcher, but he hasn't had the same stuff he had during the 2nd half of last season.

After watching this game, I'm confident in saying we're a much better hitting team against a pitcher with a strong fastball than we are a finesse pitcher. We're taking great swings tonight...and will probably look foolish vs Rogers tomorrow.

Well true, but also remember that most finesse starters are lefties, and we struggle against ALL lefties. I mean, how many finesse righties have we seen this year other than Maddux, who we b****ed slapped.
