ThinWhiteDuque
Are you really that mad at Crede or is this how these threads go every night? Crede is a god. No kidding. Nobody is perfect, even Crede, who is usually amazingly clutch. Save you displeasure for someone who REPEATEDLY makes mistakes (i.e., Uribe). fathom
QUOTE(jphat007 @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 02:05 AM) I'm almost glad he threw it. I would have hated to see Guillen have an AB with the bases loaded down run. And I'm only half joking. Obviously I would take my chances with Guillen, but I wouldn't have put it past him to get a big hit. Thames scares me too right now. He's swinging the bat great. I thought he had a 2 RBI single off of the bat.
Gregory Pratt
With all the errors he's got this year, he's going to be hard-pressed to say he deserves that Gold Glove over Chavez this year.

Frankensteiner
QUOTE(greg775 @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 09:04 PM) He's still a gold glover. Is that you, Hawk?
whitesoxfan101
Well Joe with the leadoff single....not bad. And Verlander surpasses 100 pitches, and is done for the night. 103 pitches for him in 6+, 119 for Jose in 7 full. Jose gives up 3, Verlander 3 (possibly 4 ). Not a bad night for the pitchers, up to the pens now as Walker comes in for the Tigers.

Ndgt10
We have to pinch hit for Mack here...He is AWFUL against LH pitching.
Balta1701
That 1 play should drop Crede from 4th to like 9th in the AL in fielding percentage amongst 3rd baseman. That's basically the last error he can make this year if he wants a gold glove.
Gregory Pratt
QUOTE(JimH @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 09:05 PM) He also walked Granderson who ultimately scored. Bad play by Crede, Contreras started it by walking the guy. He also did his job and induced a simple ground out. Granderson never scores if Crede doesn't pull a Little Leaguer. Great time to pinch hit with Pablo and have BA go out to the field and just hope and pray BA doesnt come up again (provied we are winning of course). Frankensteiner
QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 09:05 PM) Keep the faith guys. Last night should have taught you that. For me it's not so much that I don't think we'll win this game, but it's so frustrating watching Jose pitch his ass off only to continually be f***ed by the rest of the team. He should have won his last 4 ND's. Edited June 8, 2006 by Frankensteiner

Thankfully, we have a quality right handed outfielder on the bench. Brian Anderson. Do i even need the green? Good bunt, thank you Rob. Thank you. Guest JimH
He also did his job and induced a simple ground out. Granderson never scores if Crede doesn't pull a Little Leaguer. Yes he did, he induced the ground ball. The guy wouldn't have scored if he wouldn't have walked him either. BTW isn't your sig way big? It's huge. greg775
maybe i'd be as mad as some of you if espn had the game on. i just saw the replay, it still doesn't make me think crede is not a gold glover. we need a run.
whitesoxfan101
Well Mack gets the bunt down. Man to 2nd, 1 out. 2 chances to get an RBI single to go back ahead. Here is last nights hero, can he do it again?
