DBAHO
Some of our good SP's prospects on the mound tonight.
fathom
Fields with just a normal day off? Should I start the rumor now...both Griffey Jr. and Fields didn't play tonight!
Guest JimH
Ryan Sweeney 3-5 tonite in the Charlotte win. He's up to .317 now. He's getting very close to being major league ready, this guy can hit and he's very calm at the plate. One of quickman's many prospect buddies Wes Whisler with a nice outing tonite for W-S in their victory.
Jim Spencer
QUOTE(JimH @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 09:46 PM) Ryan Sweeney 3-5 tonite in the Charlotte win. He's up to .317 now. DBAHO
QUOTE(JimH @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 12:46 PM) One of quickman's many prospect buddies Wes Whisler with a nice outing tonite for W-S in their victory. That would be quite a list wouldn't it Jim. Whisler's actually been really good lately. His ERA was up above 4 IIRC about a couple of weeks tonight. Tonight's outing has it down to 3.59 now. 8IP, 1ER, 2BB's and 3K's. Ray Liotta, 7.1IP, 4ER, 4BB's and 3K's. Tom Collaro 3 for 4 with a 2B. Richard Brooks picked up a win as well. 4-5 with a 5.10 ERA now. Went 5.1IP, 7H, 4R, 2ER, 0BB's and 3K's. A fairly good outing for him. danman31
Collaro continues to show he might be becoming a real AA hitter soon lol.
GoodAsGould
it seems Whisler has finally figured things out in High A.... I hope he gets promoted in the near future. Isnt the organization really high on him for some reaosn.
DBAHO
QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 03:07 PM) it seems Whisler has finally figured things out in High A.... I hope he gets promoted in the near future. Isnt the organization really high on him for some reaosn. Well he was a pretty high draft pick, and IIRC he's got 4 fairly good pitches. Until now, he just had trouble putting it all together. I'd say Lucas Harrell would be ahead of him at this stage for a promotion though. SoxAce
QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 09:55 PM) Richard Brooks picked up a win as well. 4-5 with a 5.10 ERA now. Went 5.1IP, 7H, 4R, 2ER, 0BB's and 3K's. A fairly good outing for him. Brooks has really disappointed me this year. I still believe he's gonna be a good one, but he's got to get his head out of his ass... sort of speak... I still believe he's gonna be a good one, but he's got to get his head out of his ass... sort of speak... Yeah it hasn't been a good start for him at all. Hopefully he can carry on some momentum from today's outing.

Yeah he sure drilled that last double. Right off the 2nd Baseman's shoulder. Sounds like another Cub player I know of
Chisoxfn
QUOTE(SoxAce @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 10:14 PM) Brooks has really disappointed me this year. I still believe he's gonna be a good one, but he's got to get his head out of his ass... sort of speak... Kanny had quite a few guys that could have really made some noise as prospects and thus far none of them have.
whitesoxfan101
Heath gets it done again, 7-2 with a 1.89 now *yawn*. Damn I can't wait to see him up with the big club eventually.
