bjm676
QUOTE(greg775 @ Jun 9, 2006 -> 09:11 PM) Do you think at this point Brian is the worst player in Sox history? Hitting wise? Umm, no. That would have to be Joe Borchard, Chris Snopek, Mark Johnson, etc. Many others worse than Anderson.

whitesoxfan101
Ideally, you'd like to get Javy through the 6th keeping it 2-1, then B-Mac for 2, then Jenks.....or that's what I'd be thinking if I were Ozzie at least.

greg775
Snopek certainly sucked as did that stiff shortstop Royce Clayton. But Brian is certainly a horrific hitter, in that class.

BigSqwert
I know nobody cares but i'm flipping around to different games on gameday and Ryan "Lidge" Dempster loads the bases with no outs in the 9th.
whitesoxfan101
2 quick outs, then a single for Sizemore. Cotts is warming, so Michaels is the last guy Javy faces no matter what with Hafner on deck.
greg775
It looks like Joe Borchard still might make some money at this game. I see he has five homers and is hitting about .240. He's making some progress at least. He seemed like a nice guy with his comments in the papers throughout the years. I hope he makes it. He's actually showing more promise at the plate than Anderson. Could Joe field a lick? If so I'd rather have him on the team than BA.
DBAHO
QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jun 10, 2006 -> 12:13 PM) When you say better against righties you mean he's still bad but slightly better. .620 OPs against righties, compared to .442 OPS against lefties, so it's quite a difference. Brian made his way through our system in about 2 and a half seasons. Of course BA's going through a major slump right now, but he's not this bad of a hitter. greg775
Oh boy. We are in trouble now. Javy didn't last long enough. Too bad he couldn't make the play and get out of the inning. Cause now we are facing big trouble.
Brian
You'd think after the past few games with Juan gone, he would feel his job could be in jeopardy and would wake the f*** up.
