That funky motion
QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Jun 10, 2006 -> 10:39 PM) I don't much care if the guy killed his wife and drove away in a Ford Bronco. As long as he pitches better than Cliff Politte, I will tolerate him. Did Urbina get out of jail?
DBAHO
QUOTE(That funky motion @ Jun 11, 2006 -> 11:35 PM) Did Urbina get out of jail? Not yet. And I don't know if we'll be seeing him again for a LONG time.

Heads22
He's sucking less than I expected him to, which was a minor victory already to me.
whitesoxfan101
QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jun 11, 2006 -> 04:02 PM) He's sucking less than I expected him to, which was a minor victory already to me. He consistently throws strikes out of the bullpen, and with the state of major league bullpens, somebody like that is automatically going to be adequate. A guy like Montero that throws in the low 90's and makes you hit the ball can be more effective than people realize (although with that said, I'm not a huge Montero fan). Milkman delivers
Can someone tell me exactly what pitches Montero throws, and how fast he can throw his fastball?

Dick Allen
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 11, 2006 -> 04:03 PM) He consistently throws strikes out of the bullpen, and with the state of major league bullpens, somebody like that is automatically going to be adequate. A guy like Montero that throws in the low 90's and makes you hit the ball can be more effective than people realize (although with that said, I'm not a huge Montero fan). He is a 9 year minor league guy who hasn't sniffed the majors until this year. To think he will be adequate in the long run is as the mayor says, silly.
