fathom
I was thinking last night that I actually loved the lineup we ended up having late in the game. I believe it was Ozuna, Iguchi, Thome, Konerko (assuming Gload's not in), Dye, Cintron, AJP, Pods, Mackowiak. It seemed so much more balanced. Balta1701
QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 11, 2006 -> 02:47 PM) I was thinking last night that I actually loved the lineup we ended up having late in the game. I believe it was Ozuna, Iguchi, Thome, Konerko (assuming Gload's not in), Dye, Cintron, AJP, Pods, Mackowiak. It seemed so much more balanced. We're just lucky our pitchers were making good pitches while that lineup was in, since a few balls into the gap would have been problems. But yeah, that's probably a pretty good offensive and balanced lineup (especialy if you could stick in Crede)

THEWOOD
I have two tickets for the game in section 350. I am not feeling well and think it best if I just stay home. If anyone is interested in the tickets please send me a PM as soon as possible.
Capn12
QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 11, 2006 -> 05:47 PM) I was thinking last night that I actually loved the lineup we ended up having late in the game. I believe it was Ozuna, Iguchi, Thome, Konerko (assuming Gload's not in), Dye, Cintron, AJP, Pods, Mackowiak. It seemed so much more balanced. Sub Anderson in for Mack, and I have absolutely no problem with that at all. I could live with Ozuna in for Pods while he is hot, everyday of the week. He is the type of slap hitter Pods SHOULD be like. Then Pods out obviously, and Crede in with Ozuna in LF. But thats just me!

Kalapse
QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jun 11, 2006 -> 04:36 PM) That's a sexy lineup. Quite possibly the best of the year. Anytime ozzie wants to throw that lineup out there I will not second guess him one bit.
SoxFan1
I like this lineup a lot as well. God damn this day is going by so slow.
jphat007
Here's hoping BA can maybe even get the ball to the outfield tonight. Baby steps. Lineup is solid except for the 9 hole.

fathom
If we get runners on tonight, we have to force the action on the bases. Westbrook's sinker will get a lot of double play balls if we play base-to-base.
maggliopipe
I'm surprised that so many people dislike Miller and Morgan. They're one of my favorite things about Sunday Night Baseball.

tigerfan
Quick question, BBT isn't covering Clemens minor league start tonight are they? I saw they were showing him warming up before the break just now. (I realize it sounds ignorant, but just making sure I'll be able to see the game here) Nevermind I see they aren't. Not that I mind your presence here -- I know there are some guys who get their bats jammed at the fact that you're here -- but aren't there Tigers sites for you to be on to ask this sort of question? I mean, it's kind of odd and creepy to me that you're on a Sox message board, in an Indians-Sox game thread, and at SoxTalk even when the Tigers aren't playing Chicago... ...seems fetishey to me.
