sin city sox fan
I don't know much about this kid, but I'm guessing he may have fallen a little out of favor with Pittsburgh after initially refusing an assignment to AAA. Furthermore, it seems like he can hit big league pitching as he averaged .341 over 39 games last season. Lastly, centerfield seems to be his natural position. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2480921 I'm guessing he's not the best option available.....but if everyone else wants to rape and pillage the organization to complete a deal, this may be an affordable option? Felix
If the Pirates don't want him on their major league roster, why would the White Sox? Brian Anderson will come around with the bat, just give him time.

I'm all for giving BA a chance to succeed.....I've supported him quite a bit on here and am not ready to run him out of town (as many people have suggested). However, if time shows that he needs more seasoning in AAA, Duffy could be a more adequate replacement than any other options currently available (I don't like Mack or Ozuna in CF as I think we need something better there defensively). I don't even know if Chris Duffy is that solid defensively (maybe thats why he lost his job early in the year?)....however, I just thought it might be a cheap alternative to keep an eye on if a move needs to be made. Making a change just to "make a change" is not always a good idea.
