greg775
Why would Milwaukee trade Lee? He's done nothing but his the s*** out of the ball for them the last 2 years?
SABR Sox
Carlos Lee in Milwaukee could get interesting. Word is he likes it there, and they did ante up a pretty big contract to keep Ben Sheets. They are willing to spend, but he's going to get a FAT contract. And he's overrated too. So-So fielder, so-so OBP and SLG numbers. He can hit the homers, but thats about it. I don't want him back, unless its just a rental.
DBAHO
QUOTE(greg775 @ Jun 17, 2006 -> 12:31 PM) Why would Milwaukee trade Lee? He's done nothing but his the s*** out of the ball for them the last 2 years? Because his contract finishes at the end of the season, and they may not have the $$$$ for a long - term to re-sign him. And they've got also got quite a few good OF's in their system who are close to being ready.
toasty
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 13, 2006 -> 12:19 PM) I think when Ozzie said he slid into second like his wife was playing SS, that pretty much ended any chance of Carlos playing for Ozzie/Kenny. yep! carlos wouldnt protect his teamates, ozzie didnt appreciate it.... he's gone for good

GoodAsGould
I dont know.... the 2B or SS whichever it was did nothing wrong that game it was Torri who ran over Burke. So I still fail to see how sliding hard into one of the middle infielders and possibly injuring them would of done any good. If you want to get back at the twins hit the culprit which was Torri Hunter. The only time another player of a team should take the revenge or whatevr you want to call it is if like in Texas its the pitcher which we dont face is the one doing the damage.
