I will let you know what they say. I did the same thing on the Reds MLB site as well as RedsZone.com. Hopefully we get a legit response. Heath
Hey all, I saw your site from the board I frequent - redszone.com - congrats on a great 2005 and a good start to 2006. Looks like you won't be catching our Reds at their hottest. Plus, it gives all you Sox fans the shot to see Junior Griffey in action, which it seems all over the baseball web that Kenny Williams is licking his chops for him to play center Anyway - I figured I could answer your questions. We don't talk to Chicagoans too much around our parts. When you are in the same division as those baby bears, we seem to be a little hesitant of talking to anyone about baseball. In fact, Redszone.com was probably the biggest vocal of cheering that the Sox won the Series just because the Cubs didn't It's a very easy park to get to - take 65 to Indy and catch 74 - take 74 into Cincinnati. 74 dead ends into 75. Follow the signs. There's a great parking map at reds.mlb.com. If you guys want to tailgate, I would recommend the lots to the EAST of the PBS. They are open air lots. A majority of the parking at Cincinnati near the stadium is garages. you can checkout www.redszone.com and click on FAQ at the top. That gives you a little bit of info on what's going around here. There are a few watering holes north of the stadium at the Inn-between or on the Kentucky side of the river. When you get to the game, find the skyline chili stand. Hot Dogs with chili and mounds of cheddar cheese. Local Delicacy like Chicago Dogs. Hope you have a good time. Tell people that you hate the Cubs. You'll have a good time and you'll find that Cincinnati people are mostly friendly. I'll bookmark you guys and you can drop a pm to me if you need to if you have any questions. BTW - you hit the best Reds message board bar none. Accept no imitations. You have legitimate people who are legit fans. We do have some people crying about the weaknesses of Adam Dunn and "idiocy" of our Radio announcer. But, hey, we are in second place, and if you had told Reds fans we would be be in second place in June, we'd have taken it. Enjoy our fair city. Chisoxfn
Heath, thanks for stopping by and passing on that info. Great stuff and aside from this weekend we definately wish you guys the best. I've really been shocked with the Reds staying around, but you guys have gotten a lot out of the Dave Rosses and Brandon Phillips of the world and the rotation has been better than expected. However, I shudder the thought of Griffey coming to Chicago.

Heath
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jun 13, 2006 -> 12:14 PM) Heath, thanks for stopping by and passing on that info. Well, I'm sure you are waiting for the Tigers to start heading south The two things about our club besides the individual surprises is the starting pitching with Arroyo and Harang, and now Milton seem to be doing decent. Our bullpen is an absolute nuke testing ground, save for Todd Coffey. For a while our team ERA was actually above league average. There is no question, when on, our offense can rake. The Reds are second in the NL in runs scored, second in OPS, and second in OBP. What's more amazing is that the starting 3rd Baseman is on the DL and Scott Hatteburg of DH fame is playing everyday at 1st. But the words "Career Norms" are starting to creep up, expecially in this 4 game losing streak. The big talk around the Reds and Griffey is moving him to a corner OF position. There is a speed-deficency on Griffey, but he's 35 and all. We need pitching bad. There are a few guys in our system, but they still are 2-3 years away. I can understand why Griffey to the Sox for McCarthy rumors are out there.

That would be the worst deal in recent years, and would be up there with Zambrano for Kazmir. If that happens, Kenny Williams is going to hear a lot of s***. klaus kinski
Heath is correct-I did see tailgating there-but they were on seperate private lots, and on some parking on the lower level adjacent to the river. Its quite a nice place to see a game at.

Heath, as long as we have a common enemy in the Cubs, you can always call the White Sox friends. Thanks for the info. I loved Cincinnati when I have been their on business in the past. This time, only leisure.
