maggsmaggs
QUOTE(SoxAce @ Jun 14, 2006 -> 01:00 AM) He is some kinda player he got here. Wow. I have no doubt in my mind that Ryan Sweeney can hit .300+ in the majors. He is in some ways similar to Joe Mauer in that everyone excpects their power to develope over time. Obviosuly, Mauer will have more power and is a better overall hitter, but they are similar.
GoodAsGould
I think Whistler has shown he can handle high A now. He had a slow start kind of but has been dominating for awhile now. I wonder if he gets promoted soon to double A. Also its good to see Anderson Gomes having success in low A maybe if he keeps it up he can get back to high A. His swing is just so pretty and he's a very good athlete with a strong throwing arm. He's gonna be a good one, as long as he can stay healthy (and that is something that has given him trouble; namely the nagging injuries). Rowand44
Fields is definitely going to give management a tough decision in the near future. Edited June 14, 2006 by Rowand44
GoodAsGould
QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 14, 2006 -> 06:52 PM) Fields is definitely going to give management a tough decision in the near future. I dont think so... assuming Crede keeps this offense up they will prob work on resigning him and than move Fields to LF. I think Uribe might be out of a job too next season assuming he doesnt turn things around in a big way. Because than either Pablo/Cintron can take over or someone from the outside can and become the new leadoff man.
