RockRaines
How is it that Thome routinely cannot catch up to a fastball?
Whitewashed in '05
LMAO!!! Farmer - "Were picking up some words from the dugout, if you hear them we can't describe them, sorry." I thought I heard a f*** you from someone. That wasn't the exactly what he said btw.

Ndgt10
guys, relax and keep to the game please. I hear our dugout on the TV dropping F-bombs. Yet, we are not allowed to insult a player on here or use foul language.
Milkman delivers
QUOTE(JimH @ Jun 14, 2006 -> 08:23 PM) That's your opinion. He's stating his opinion, based on having stood in the batters box and probably having a better understanding of what's going on between the lines than any of us. DJ agrees with him on this, for what that's worth. Yes, but he's talking about hitting their best player and lining balls back off of Padilla's knees. He shouldn't be saying that during a broadcast. He's stating his opinion, based on having stood in the batters box and probably having a better understanding of what's going on between the lines than any of us. DJ agrees with him on this, for what that's worth. I mean this as a serious question, and want to know your opinion. Do you think Hawk should show more class, and not say he wants the Sox to hit one of the Rangers better players or root for Padilla to get hit in the knee with a line drive? MSHAWKS
QUOTE(JimH @ Jun 14, 2006 -> 08:21 PM) Why do you ask, if you're trying to start s***, don't. Thanks. Lighten up, I was joking around.
Flash Tizzle
Several of our hitters are obviously outguessing themself in this situation. How does Thome miss a STRAIGHT 94 mph fastball right down the middle? Has Padilla thrown anything besides fastballs tonite? It's been downright pathetic how we've responded since Padilla hit AJ twice.
KevHead0881
I'm probably wrong, but I swear I heard somebody that sounded a lot like Ozzie yell "Get back on the f***ing mound" right after Padilla thought he had strike 3. Probably just a fan, but I know I heard it.

Dick Allen
QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 14, 2006 -> 08:21 PM) Show some professionalism, Hawk. He sounds like a huge scumbag right now. And I know I'm not the guy to call him on something like this, but you're on TV Hawk. Stop saying this s***. There's a lot of little kids watching this game right now, many who play little league, and while retaliation may be in order, I agree with you, Hawk needs to tone it down. Talking about going after one of their better players, or meeting him outside the clubhouse is irresponsible.

Guest JimH
Yes, but he's talking about hitting their best player and lining balls back off of Padilla's knees. He shouldn't be saying that during a broadcast. What I'm referring to is the aspect of Padilla throwing intentionally at Pierzynski (in his opinion). He is talking exactly like many players would talk. Sometimes it ain't pretty. Certainly your right to not appreciate what he's saying and how he's saying it though. Personally I don't have a problem with it because I know that's exactly what gets said and I appreciate hearing things the players would say. Dick Allen
There's always a lot of talk not suitable for regular TV on the benches. I remember Oakland calling Buerhle all kinds of names his rookie season when he pitched inside to one of their hitters.
