YASNY
I heard an interesting report on Josh Stewart here in Kentucky on a local radio station. (Stewart is from this area). Apparently when Stewart was drilled by that line drive in the chest before he was sent down, it later caused some circulation problems. He temporarily lost feeling in some of the fingers of his left (pitching) hand. He has been on the DL all this time. Stewart is just now beginning his rehab, so I guess that health wise all is well. This may be old news to some of you, but this is the first I have heard about any of this. If this is common knowledge, then somehow it flew in under my own personal radar screen. IndySoxFan
can josh ever start in the bigs.... or is he going to be a lifetime backup?
Chisoxfn
can josh ever start in the bigs.... or is he going to be a lifetime backup? I've never been a huge Josh fan. I think he could do it though, if he improves his control. With his stuff just being average, he has to pinpoint his pitches, imo.

doubleM23
can josh ever start in the bigs.... or is he going to be a lifetime backup? Compared to some of the pitching talent the Sox have, Stewart faces an uphill battle... I think the best projection for him would be an improved version of Gary Glover or Sean Lowe... Solid spot starter, great out of the 'pen. Best thing that kid's got going for him is he's a lefty.
YASNY
Stewart is only 20 years old, he didn't pitch badly while he was here. He may be a solid starter someday.

Stewart was born on December 5, 1978. Played 3 years of college ball at Memphis. Anyway you look at it, the numbers don't add up to 20. Well, you were half right. You got the 2 in the right place. LOL
