Cerbaho-WG
Frank is really tearing the cover off the ball lately, maybe because of his move to 1B? Jerry, just maybe? As of now, his average is .278, but a few days ago it was .270. Frank looks REALLY good up there, just wish he'd annihilate some first ball fastballs. Harry Chappas
If Frank keeps this up, All-Star anyone? We need a rep and Loiaza is the only other option, maybe Jimenez. Let's hope for Frank, he may get voted????? Wishful thinking, I know.
Iguana
he's hitting .282 now. frank needs to stay at 1B, period! Paulie is sucking ass. let him DH if need be but not bother frank!!
AssHatSoxFan
frank seems back to his old trix and maybe 30 HRs in store for us this year? and .300 and maybe 100 rbis?
Soxplosion
Hes coming up on 400 career jacks. Itll be nice if he gets there, that would be the first time such has happened in our history. But I prefer that he keeps killing the ball like recently, that would help the team much more. And keep him at first, he says it helps him and it obviously does... whitesox247
Frank is looking very giddy at first base. No doubt that its getting him into the game more. Hes been diving for balls, reaching for balls, and doing splits. I say keep him there while hes hot.

witesoxfan
If he keeps this up, the Sox will (hopefully) be back to winning in no time. The only reason I have any hope for this season is because of Frank. If he gets on a roll, he can carry a team for months. Hitting is contagious....as soon as one guy starts hitting well, another does, and then another, and then another....and before you know it, you're putting up 15-20 hits a game and scoring 8-10 runs a game. The converse is also true....one guy starts hitting s***ty, then another does, then another does....and before you know it, you're getting 3-5 hits a game and scoring 1-3 runs a game. All-star??? How many other 1Bman in the AL are putting up better numbers? Delgado is ripping the f***ing cover off the ball, Huff in Tampa is playing pretty well and they have to have a rep(who else for them would go?), Giambi is a lock because of his name( ), Palmeiro in Texas too. I'd definately say there is a possibility that he could go, but my heart says that, unless we trade Loaiza before then/he starts blowing chunks, Loaiza is going. At this pace, we most likely will not have 2 reps. We'll have to get hotter then hell to get 2 reps. However, like I said above, if Thomas gets going, he can carry a team for months, and if he does....we could get hotter then hell. That's what's so fun about baseball....you never know. Frank not only isn't going to be voted, he probably doesn't deserve it. If it comes down to E-Lo or Frank E-Lo probably is more serving but I would rather pay to see Frank. He deserves the honor in Chicago. Before the season started I would have expected to be throwing out names like Maggs, Mark, and Bart. I'll bet MB will be looking forward to a couple days away from his "friends"

Hey that sounds like us! I dont think our offense sucks because everybodys hitting like crap, we have some decent hitters, but its all individual. We have too few innings like the third inning today. We need to do more of that, leadoff single, sac bunt, RBI single, steal second and another RBI single. Most of the guys here just swing for the fences (kinda like Bart did today, that was pretty wild). If we have more innings like the one I mentioned, we could be a pretty good team... doubleM23
God, it would be wonderful if Frank would play in an All-Star Game at U.S. Cellular Field... Unfortunately, as I said in my column, I think his fate rests more in the hands of his teammates. If the Sox finally get it together and start putting together some wins and hacking into Minnesota's lead and Frank keeps it up... Who knows? A guy can wish, eh? Soxplosion
Yeah, as much as I love frank and think hes doing well this year, well probably get one rep and that will be Loaiza. Big name slugs like Giambi will take most of the space. If Im there, Im gonna boo so loud when Giambi steps in. I hope everyone will follow my lead. Id hate to see a game at our field ruined by a bunch of undeserving schmucks who are hitting like .200...

Edd-ie!" chants in the '91 all star game at the old Chicago Stadium (the game for which Belfour, the hometown favorite who won the Vezina that year, I believe, was overlooked) when Bill Ranford was introduced to the audience. rafacosta
"Thomas, who went 3-for-3 with a walk, has started all five interleague games at first base and is 15-for-33 (.455) in 10 games at first. Manuel said Thomas will continue to play first when the Sox resume their American League schedule, with Paul Konerko taking over at designated hitter." JM is getting conscious. But he needs to put DB on DH agst RH, and PK or Graff agst LH.
Texsox
Frank is use to playing well on some poor teams. He doesn't need people around him to be hitting to get on a tear. I loved seeing him sprawled at first base after snagging a throw from I believe it was Crede and a big smile on his face. Plus defensively it isn't like he's replacing a Golden Glove 1st baseman. Go Frank
