WilliamTell
QUOTE(beautox @ Jun 17, 2006 -> 07:10 PM) No Worries guys, the reds BP sucks. I hope we can get a few runs off of it.
Dick Allen
I really love outfielders that play shallow. When you're playing as deep as Pods was, if its over your head, its gone, and those little bloops, this particular one had some hang time on it, drop in and do damage. Dick Allen
QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jun 17, 2006 -> 07:13 PM) 13 K, but will it matter? How many other 45 year old pitchers establish career highs in strikeouts in back to back starts?
Melissa1334
QUOTE(beautox @ Jun 17, 2006 -> 07:10 PM) No Worries guys, the reds BP sucks. except for coffee(or however u spell it) hes been pretty good. >this is a perfect example of how k's are a bit overrated. contreras has like 10 or something and yet hes given up 5 runs. Milkman delivers
Well, if he loses, at least it was his own fault. He really fell apart that inning and the 3-run inning before it.

When you're playing as deep as Pods was, if its over your head, its gone, and those little bloops, this particular one had some hang time on it, drop in and do damage. It's a sad day when Adam Dunn is far and away the best left fielder in this particular game. Pods needs to get us going this inning.

ChWRoCk2
Reds pen isnt that bad, it just depends on who we face, coffey is doing a nice job for them same with yan, good thing its weathers hes very hitable
Frankensteiner
I've said it once and I'll say it again: if a good starting becomes available, we should acquire him. Contreras has looked pretty average this month, which is unfortunately still more than you can say about any of our other starters.
Capn12
Pods OBP now down to .340 after an 0 for 3 so far..

I'll take the 4-K Contreras that gives up a maximum of 3 runs over the 10+ K Contreras any day.
