Chisoxfn
QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Jun 19, 2006 -> 01:20 PM) With the exception of SnB, has anyone else even seen Rescue Me?? Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Office, Entourage are all great comedies. I look at Rescue Me in the same light as like a Sopranos. There's a lot of funny parts, but the show is much more than the comedy. It's almost like it's funny in spite of itself. Give it a shot. Rescue Me is about the only series I actually watch over the summer. Usually during the summer I'm rarely around the house aside from watching the Sox game. But ya Rescue me is a damn fine show, but doesn't come close to the Shield, Lost, 24, House, and Prison Break. Kalapse
Am I the only one who found the plot line of Prison Break ridiculous and just completely pointless? I find it incredibly hard to draw up any sympathy for the supposed protagonist of the show. Edited June 20, 2006 by Kalapse

THEWOOD
I only watch some "new" shoes on TV when I am not watching sports. I will watch Entourage, Amazing Race, Sopranos and Family Guy. Office I have only seen a few episodes but liked what I saw.

Capn12
Haven't watched syndicated TV since Scrubs was a new, unknown show and John Doe was ganked off TV way before it should have been.
LowerCaseRepublican
I'm going to make a case for a cult show "Wonder Showzen". It is pretty humorous for the type of people that would enjoy this really subversive type of humor. It isn't for everybody and you're either going to love it or think it is terrible. It is pretty humorous for the type of people that would enjoy this really subversive type of humor. It isn't for everybody and you're either going to love it or think it is terrible. Wonder Showzen is one of those shows where some episodes I'm in stiches the entire time laughing so hard, while other episodes I find completely horrible. Its not new, so I don't DVR it, but its a very good show.

RibbieRubarb
I know I'm going to get burned for this but to me the best show on TV is Veronica Mars Intricately plotted, extremely well-written, witty, clever, suspenseful and with great performances. Sometimes it has more happening in one episode than most shows in their whole season. Edited June 20, 2006 by RibbieRubarb
Goldmember
QUOTE(WCSox @ Jun 19, 2006 -> 05:25 PM) One of my favorite lesser-known shows is Most Haunted, which airs on the Travel Channel on Friday nights and Saturday mornings (6 and 9 pm PT and 8 am PT, respectively). It's basically a group of people who investigate "haunted" houses and hotels (mostly in England) with the aid of a psychic medium and a parapsychologist. Not all episodes are that eventful, but some are very crazy they've caught some really cool stuff on camera. Ghost Hunters is 10x better. MH is way too fake...
