Soxy
Elect first woman presiding bishop (in US and Anglican Communion) I think she's a good choice for the Episcopal church, although I'm not sure how this will be seen by the larger Anglican Communion. Seems very grounded (and intellectual, with a PhD in marine biology). General Convention also refuses the proposed halt to electing gay bishops. Overall, very interesting convention (that isn't over yet). It will be very interesting to see how this all pans out--I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Episcopal church kicked out of the Anglican communion in the next 7 years, followed closely by the Canadian Anglican church (I think NZ may also follow). Good to see some of the factions sticking with their priciples, even if it ends up splintering the commmunion.
