Punch and Judy Garland
Since manager's can't appeal, anything he gets he serves unless it was so unfair that Ozzie sued MLB. Peter Gammons today reported that he thinks Ozzie will receive an additional suspension of a very short length
Kalapse
Um, Ozzie only got one game per David Schuster of the Score.

valponick
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 07:06 PM) Um, Ozzie only got one game per David Schuster of the Score. My original info was per Bruce Levine on ESPN radio.....I just got back in my office from lunch so I haven't heard anything else about it. Levine could have been wrong, it's not like it'd be the first time.

Balta1701
QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 02:38 PM) I wouldn't count on that just yet. MLB announced that Ozzie will be fined and will have to undergo sensitivity training over that matter, no suspension.
NUKE_CLEVELAND
QUOTE(valponick @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 12:21 PM) 1 game for Ozzie, 3 for Riske. Riske to appeal, Ozzie to miss tonights game. Once again. Other teams get to hit our players at will and when we respond we get in trouble. This is such f***ing bulls***. T-Minus 5...........4...........3...........2..........1 until Ozzie blows up on Bud Selig.
UC76
I love how Riske has been here about two minutes and has a suspension already. Hysterical.
greg775
That's why this retaliation crap is dangerous. You get suspended for retaliating. It's better to wait another series or two then plunk somebody and let the other team get the suspensions. It's obvious A.J. will charge the mound before long and we're going to lose him about a week when he does.
BobDylan
QUOTE(WCSox @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 12:27 PM) No, he'll get additional games for his Moronotti comments. I'm thinking that Selig will give him 5 days and a $10,000 fine, which an arbitrator will probably knock down somewhat. Is there anything that protects Ozzie from situations like that? Any sort of freedom of speech in MLB? Though slander could be an issue?
