Astros By Tony Mazzuca While the 2006 season is in full effect, this weekend the Sox and their fans are going to get a little October '05 flashback. As we all know, the White Sox swept the Astros in the 2005 World Series, giving the Sox their first World Series title in 88 years. Both teams have had their ups and downs in '06, however the Sox now looked poised to reach the Fall Classic again, while the Astros have been hovering around .500. chitownsportsfan Posted June 23, 2006 Share Posted June 23, 2006 I always feel good about a Contreras start, and in general, the matchups seem to favor the Sox. I'll be happy with 2 out of 3, although a sweep should be the goal. Keep the foot on the gas at this point and build a lead in the WC if nothing else.
