The Cards have b****ed, besides Duncan? I dont see anyone b****ing.. Just a source.. big deal?

They could have very well been tipping pitches but it had more to do with Mulder being injured and pitching and Marquis sucking to me.. and Reyes being awesome..

It's nice to see a fan of another team come in here and post with class. I've always thought that Cards fans were the best in baseball and people like you reinforce that belief. :cheers

Let's put it this way... Reyes could have told hitters that change up was coming, and they still wouldn't have hit it. The kid is good. Maybe hitters will pick up a tell on him later, but right now, that thing is a notch under Johan as far as I am concerned. The nice thing is that he does not have the mid90s fastball to back up the change like Santana does, and he definatley doesn't have a third pitch either.

Are you sure? The FSMW gun clocked his 4 seamer at 95mph a few times... and I think the gun was acurate... it had Jenks at about 97-99....

Did they really need a camera to steal signs? during the first 2 games it seemed like there was a man on second for every batter.

We respond well to it. This is definitely a team that plays better with a chip.

Agreed, and I kinda like it when everybody hates us.....I grew up with it since it was such a Cubs boner of an area in the late 90's and early 2000's, so it's fun to be hated again. I don't give a f*** what people think of us, were supposedly the bad ass team with weird fans in the bad area anyways, nothing wrong with being the misunderstood renegades that will kick your ass.

I thought I saw him around 90 for most of the game. I guess I missed it then.

As for Jenks the gun had him 100-99-100-100 for the last batter, so either it was accurate or a little fast I am guessing.

Now, sign-swiping, like beanball, is a part of baseball and has been for what, a hundred years? But if the SOX do it, it's dishonest and cheating. Somehow, you just know, Ozzie and/or AJ will be alleged to have been behind it.

Heh heh

I heard a cub fan call us the "oakland raider fans" of baseball. I laughed, never heard that comparison before

I did a long, long time ago.

Same here, everybody hates us since we are the complete opposite of the pathetic, loveable losers to the north whom embrace their sad state of affairs. Apparently winning and having confidence gets peoples panties in a bunch, becaues the hate we get goes far beyond Ozzie Guillen.

The "thug" image and the Sox have gone hand and hand since the members of NWA used to sport our gear.

Yeah that is definitely true, and it does show the ignorance of people. Apparently all our fans are thugs, gang bangers, jail birds, and homeless/unemployed/both since some rappers wear our gear. Pretty pathetic and judgemental, but hey people are often those 2 things.

Yeah, you're right.

But I still maintain that AJ Pierzynski, the most hated player in all of baseball and baseball history, is behind this.

It gets worse. I read in the tribune that AJ makes his catcher's mitts out of dead baby leather

Oh let's see....the Sox averaged 9 runs per game on the ROAD versus Cincinnati and the last game vs. Texas. The Sox stopped scoring in game 2 when the Cardinals changed their signs, which also coincided with a PITCHING CHANGE. Mulder and Marquis were leaving the ball over the fat part of the plate. When you're pitching against one of the top offenses in baseball, they tend to score LOTS OF RUNS. Yah Reyes was real good and I give him creidt. But, the Sox tend to have difficulty against pitchers they've never seen before. Duncan, just shut up already.
