Gregory Pratt
QUOTE(minors @ Jun 23, 2006 -> 12:50 PM) Job Approval Oh, you edited your post... Well, I read what you wrote, and I'd like to say that I admire that you are willing to stick up for the President and stand up for your convictions. I think that that is very admirable, and it touched my heart to see that you wrote, "I'm trying to stick up for our great President." And I'm not being sarcastic there. NorthSideSox72
QUOTE(minors @ Jun 23, 2006 -> 12:50 PM) Job Approval Thank you. Well, there does indeed appear to be a spike. But its a rolling poll, and the average over the current period is still 42 or so. If he finishes the month and goes 44 or higher, I'd call it material. Rex Kickass
Rasmussen has a daily tracking number. It does tend to be a little higher than most polls, because Rasmussen is a GOP leaning poll outfit. But they are generally accurate. They are the only approval rating that changes daily. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 23, 2006 -> 01:55 PM) Thank you. Well, there does indeed appear to be a spike. It is a shame that Zogby made such a fool of him self saying Kerry would win 311 or so electorial votes he also said that Kerry would win VA,CO,OH,FL,NV and NC as well and the closest state to a Kerry win was OH which he lost by what 100,000 votes. And yes the 7 day AVG is 41, but look at the numbers the last 4 days up up up up

They are a statistical train wreck, and his methods are substandard. However, I'd be surprised if your 4 day blip turned out to be much.
Rex Kickass
Rasmussen's presidential polls are very good. But they actually refused to call who would win the election. I remember, I followed every poll religiously. A lot of polling firms refused. Zogby used a different polling method, that is new and seemingly inaccurate. They lean GOP because most of their clientele is Republican.

Yes I am standing up for our president I just fail to see how bad of job he has done. I will even add Joe L I never though I could stand for him but what he has done is awsome, standing up for what he knows is right. The way I see it is we have done so much good in Iraq lets finish the job. It would be terrible if we cut and ran like some libs want to do then have Terrorists retake the area and attack us once again. I have to appulde the liberal plan here because it is one that if it fails will ruin the party for ever. There is no way they could recover if there cut and run strategy ended up with the terrorists committing more attacks and Tens of thousands of dead on the homeland. Soxbadger
These numbers mean nothing. Bush SR had a ridiculously high rating the year he lost to Clinton. The only rating that matters is the rating when people step into the booth, and a lot can change between now and then.

To our great president To Joe L Ruin the party? Their plan will never be used. If they ever have a plan on Iraq they'll only be able to use it when they're in power. And that means at least waiting til 2008 if I have any idea how the American system works. Their so-called plans are only about making political hay and are probably not realistic. The situation is so much more complicated then either cutting and running or staying the course. The implications are global and increased terrorist attacks on the home soil should probably be a secondary thought at this point. And really probably have virtually no connection to the Iraq War.
