Tonight, two cub fans came with my rommate and I to the game and they couldn't believe how nice the park was and kept making comments about how it was so nice to see people standing and paying attention to the game and fans that cared about every pitch vs. playing games in the bleachers.

Did they do the wave at all today?

People started standing a lot, but it wasn't for the wave. I was very impressed with the crowd early on tonight. I got lots of energy from it. I was highly disappointed with how many people left after the 7th and 8th innings. I was telling people as they went to the exits that they would be regretting it.

im afraid when the sox get good (this year) that fair weather fans will come and wont cheer on our team. If your not going to get into the game and stay to the last pitch- DONT COME

i hate when people leave early or when they sit there and yell at you when you stand up to cheer

If I ever go to a white sox game and someone tells me to sit down when it's "time" to cheer for the sox, I swear to god, I'll be leaving the game in handcuffs.

If you don't honor who we do things in our park, there is a whole other side of town where people just love fairweather fans and accept anyone with dollars in thier fists.

"time" is the most important word there. There are definitely people who don't understand that and I have no problem with someone telling them to sit the f*** down and stop ruing the game for everyone behind them.

Bingo.

Okay, so let me see if I follow - only sit on a green seat that faces the pitcher's mound, no ketchup on the hot dog, no yelling at someone blocking my view, and stay til the end of the game no matter what my schedule, situation or real life dictates.

Am I missing anything?
