rangercal
I was debating to put this thread in futuresox. I wanted feedback from a larger audience, so Diamond club is the right place . I've been to about 5 Omaha Royals games. Always a good time. I rooted for Omaha every time aside for the times when they played the Nashville Sounds ( sox aaa team before the knights). I was getting excited in 1995 because I was so sure Michael Jordan was going to get called up to aaa because of his name. I was looking forward to watching him in person. He came back to basketball so I'm not complaining. Some notable players I remember playing in person are: Lyle Mouton, Mike Sirotka, Dave Righetti , Ray Durham , James Baldwin, Michael Tucker Dwayne Hosey, Jermaine Dye , preety sure I seen Mike sweeney play but not 100 % sure on him. I'm thinking about doing a couple of the following this summer. Road Trip to Charlotte and/or Birmingham. and Attending a kane county cougers game. Not really interested in a schaumburg flyers game because they are not affliliated. What teams have you watched in person?

Jim Spencer
I've seen the Barons play the Western-Tennesse Jaxs (Cub AA) Saw Brian Anderson, Michael Morse and Arnie Munoz to just name a few. I've been to Toledo and Indianapolis a bunch of times (was going to go to Toledo tonight, but was screwed by my job ) to see the Knights. I've seen Brian Anderson, Ross Gload, Ryan Sweeney, Craig Wilson, Ian Snell, Ben Davis, Josh Fields, Chris Duffy to name a few. I've also been to several Gary Railcats where I saw Pete Rose jr. loltrain
West Michigan Whitecaps (Oakland A's, and now Detroit Tigers A ball team) Last game I saw was back in 2000 or 1999. Sadly the best players I've seen are Francisco Cordero, Robert Fick, and Ben Grieve. Not exactly a list of hall of famers.
Benchwarmerjim
Ive been to a St Paul Saint game and I recently went to a Mankato Moondogs game. Not so much a minor league, but the Northwoods League is more like a Cape Cod league for Minnesota. I saw Bret Sagerhagens son Drew pitch for the Alexandria Beetles. He was dominant that night, and has been dominant in the Northwoods League
knightni
South Bend Silverhawks/White Sox I saw many midwest league games, I worked for them for a short time. Brad Penny, Casey Daigle, Justin Upton, Scott Radinsky, Jason Bere, Roberto Hernandez, Bernard Gilkey, Ray Lankford, Corey Patterson... I'm sure others.. (yes Pete Rose Jr too). Rex Hudler
I've been putting this off for a day or two, but here goes, to the best of my recollection. There is no way I can remember every great player I have seen, but I'll toss out a few. The entire Southern League, every year from 1997 to 2004. Birmingham Barons - Buehrle, Carlos Lee, Crede, Rowand, Cotts, McCarthy, many others.. Carolina Mudcats - Miguel Cabrera, Juan Pierre Chattanooga Lookouts - Adam Dunn Huntsville Stars - Tejada, Fielder, Hardy, Weeks, Sheets Jacksonville Suns - Juan Encarnacion Mississippi/Greenville Braves Mobile BayBears - Jake Peavey Montgomery Biscuits - Delmon Young, Carl Crawford (might have been with Orlando before the move) Tennessee Smokies - Yadier Molina, Dan Haren West Tenn Diamon Jaxx - Mark Prior, Corey Patterson, Hee Sop Choi Orlando Rays - Kerry Wood Memphis Chicks - Ryan Franklin Other teams: Columbus Clippers - Derek Jeter Rochester Red Wings - Brad Tyler Omaha Royals - Sal Fasano Indianapolis Indians Louisville Bats Nashville Sounds Edmonton Trappers? - Eric Chavez Memphis Redbirds Salt Lake Buzz Bowie Baysox Charleston Riverdogs Can't remember who played vs. Charleston or Bowie (New Britain Rock Cats, maybe?) Way back when, as a kid: Evansville Triplets Denver Bears Oklahoma City 89'ers Several others, I'm sure......... Man, just trying to remember all the teams was tough enough, let alone trying to remember players. Taking the time to come up with all the teams was tough, but it surprised me. I am sure there are others, I forgot.
Felix
I saw the debut of the State College Spikes (Cardinals) last week, and saw the St. Paul Saints years ago when Darryl Strawberry was there.
SoxAce
I'll make this short. Went to Alabama couple years ago for relatives in the summer, went to a Barons game, got Reed's autograph, been in love with him ever since.

Drew
Kane County Cougars Peoria Chiefs Fort Wayne Wizards Grandparents would take the whole gang, all 20 or so of us, on the 4th of July to the Wizards games when we would come to town. I am pretty sure we would have seen AJ playing for them in the mid-late 90s.
THEWOOD
I have been to many Columbus Clippers games. The stadium is such a s*** hole, but now they are building a new one right next to Nationwide arena where the Bluejackets play.
